Squarespace Template Styling

A template styling for Gladys Lu, an artist and yoga instructor based in San Francisco. She needed an improved online presence and a polished first portfolio that could be shared easily with institutions, galleries, and potential collaborators.

We discussed and selected a Squarespace template that best suits Gladys’s needs and style, updated it with new colours and fonts to reflect her individual aesthetic, and populated it with tailored text and visual content.

Template Styling included:

  • Squarespace template curation

  • Brand typography & colour application

  • Uploading content following the layout structure

  • Basic SEO

  • Mobile responsiveness

Squarespace Template Styling

Template styling was a best solution for Gladys because it delivered a professional website quickly and affordably, while preserving her unique aesthetics.

  • Quick to launch: Template styling allowed Gladys to launch her website fast, which was important for her artistic activity: networking, applying for grants, or meeting gallery curators.Rather than starting from scratch, we adapted an existing Squarespace template, cutting creation and development time and enabling immediate functionality.

  • Brand cohesion with individuality: Although based on a template, the styling process focused on Gladys’s brand — her palette, typography, imagery and voice. The result feels bespoke: the site reflects her warmth and professionalism without the expense of a fully custom site.

  • Scalable foundation: The styled template provides room to grow. As Gladys expands offerings or adds events, we left the site structure flexible so future enhancements or a transition to a custom design will be smooth.

Template styling balanced short time, budget and brand integrity, while delivering a beautiful and functional website that supports Gladys’s business goals now, with the practical flexibility to evolve later.
